They read a scary story, and soon they hear a strange sound and they go and look for it and they see an owl make the sound and they get scared and run back into the tent. I can't say for sure but I think it's a possibly that cannot be ruled out. Tiger gets a new torch, so Kipper and Tiger go camping in the woods to use it. So there could still be a monster lurking around the park it's just changing its shape so not to scare people, possibly so that people will play with it or maybe even for a more sinister reason. Then everyone played with it but it was only due to it changing its shape. The actual monster saw how people were frightened of it so it changed into a ball so that everyone wouldn't be scared of it. Pig possibly saw it while in the park one day and ran away in fear, but then got the idea to scare Kipper and Tiger and dressed Arnold up in what he thought looked like the monster. My thoughts on it are that the ball is some kind of shapeshifting type of creature.

What could the connection be here?
